Skye it was such a pleasure meeting you in “turtle pond”… You are a light to the world.. never forget the passion you hold inside shows with each breath you take. I felt a very strong and compassionate person in my presents when i met you and would have liked to spend the entire day with you. Your daughter posseses your same sweet calm spirit. I’ve been perusing your site for a couple days now, which sounds really creepy, but I have left it open on my desktop and I jump back in each time I come back to my desk to read and view your gorgeous images. I’m in love with your work – it’s thoughtful, interesting and lovely all around. And this was such a beautiful piece of writing. I remember the same hesitation years ago when asked what I “do.” As a former health care worker, it was really hard to let go of my “real education” and own this calling of photography. I’m glad you decided to as well. Thanks for sharing this. And Sara B…..just the best. I saw her live a month or so ago for the first time. 🙂
