Eastern Montana.
It has always had a lasso around my heart. Always.
I’m fully convinced that nothing compares.
It’s miles of open space blanketed by miles of skyline.
It’s dirt roads lined with endless fence lines.
It’s welcoming arms and a warm embrace.
And it’s the people. Oh, the people of Eastern Montana. They’re about having fun, laughing lots, and working hard…and everyone is an ‘old friend.’
And my friend, Miss A?? I couldn’t quite possibly express how much I like this girl. A breath of fresh air. Kind, sincere, and just a heap of joyful energy. She truly defines the word ‘genuine.’ I feel nothing but gratitude in the sheer chance that our paths crossed. I have a strong suspicion I’m not the only one who can say the same of her.
Combine Eastern Montana with my friend, Miss A, and you have an opportunity that just can’t be passed. This weekend, for her mom’s birthday, they helped mark the milestone with a photo session.
And just like that, with ‘welcoming arms and a warm embrace,’ they made me feel like I was home.
(Just a tiny share for now…)
Always loved you babies and kids figures. Then came the family shots and the seniors. Skye you have a true gift capturing the “elder couples”!
