So, I know we’ve all been there but you know those times that you meet someone and you just know that you are meant to be friends?  You just know.

There was a day earlier this year that I stumbled across a photographer in Billings, MT.  Sort of a long story but her photos caught my eye and I continued to look forward to seeing her latest work.  It’s no secret, I’m a sentimental and sappy gal when it comes to family.  I’m quite certain that as the years pass, I’m going to find a whole heckuva lot of value in those photographs taken that completely reveal the way we felt about each other.  Capturing a feeling.  This is the essence of what I strive to do and also what I strive to have done with my family.  Enter Ms. Jaymee Foster.  She does this so very well…likely better than she even knows.  AND she’s as sweet as she is talented.  We’ve thrown email correspondence back and forth for the last few months and I have to say, she is so stinkin’ funny and is certainly the master at writing like she talks.

I would note that when I first commented on her blog, she replied with the most amazing response.  Too amazing actually because I said to Mr. Hatten, “she totally has me mixed up with someone else.”  (there are at least a couple other photographers (amazing ones!) who share my first name…weird, huh?)

Regardless, I couldn’t be more tickled to have crossed paths and whether she likes it or not, she’s stuck with me as my friend.  Sorry, it’s just the way it is.
