Hello there! I’m glad you’ve found your way here. Thank you for your interest in a SIMPLY MOM mini session! It has been a little over five years since I last offered these sessions and I’m happy to reserve some time to bring them back in 2024. I’ve missed them and it’s time to gather again.

So, here are the little details and bits of information that will help us be on our merry little journey.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• 20-25 Minute Photo Session
• 15-20 Proofs within an online gallery for viewing
• 11×14 Print of the image of your choice
• 5 fully edited digital images for you to print, enjoy, and share
• Mini-Collections and options to add on more prints or products

INVESTMENT:

• Price: $400 (Nonrefundable $200 to book and secure your spot, $200 due 5 days before your session). I’ll email you an invoice for both.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• I have reserved two dates this year for these sessions – Sunday, June 9th and Monday, June 10th. We’ll be meeting for a half-hour time period between 5:30 and 7:30pm.
• The location will be a safe open field area with tall grasses, pretty light, and Montana views.
• Weather – on the off-chance weather poses to be challenging on the day of our session, I will ensure we reschedule for an alternate day. (Montana, I do love you with all my heart but sometimes, you can be a smidgen unpredictable at times). Blustering winds are a most certain “no” but breezes can be most beautiful and take a simple image possibility to stunning levels.
• Sickness – Sadly, these moments happen. And I understand. On the unfortunate chance, someone isn’t feeling well on the day of our session, we’ll visit and reschedule.
• These mini-sessions are appropriate for babies 6 months to of course, moms of all ages.

WHAT TO WEAR:

First and foremost, most definitely wear something you are comfortable in. As far as the rest, my key recommendations are not to match and simply go for basic coordination. The primary purpose of these sessions are to, as authentically as possible, capture this space in time and capture the love and interactions shared. The clothing? It just isn’t something I worry too much about. To reiterate the basic rules of thumb: wear something you and your kiddos would actually wear, be comfortable, don’t match, skip the logo attire. Done. A FEW TIPS:

1. Cheeky kiddos photograph well. Rest easy if your kiddo gets a case of the sillies. Don’t panic, I promise we’re conquering exactly what we came for. Warm and exuberant photos are to be had from this cheekiness. AND if this session is with you and an older child or children, maybe you won’t need to worry about cheekiness…or maybe you still do!
2. Make your photo day an easy day.  I know “photo day” can result in some stresses…all in the name of perfection. These sessions are crafted specially to just simply capture “you.”  Breathe. Enjoy. Use this time as a moment to just focus on each other.  Sometimes, these moments don’t surface as much as we’d like. Embrace it.
3. Food.  Makes everyone happier.  Well fed kiddos are happy, ready to play, and have some fun.

Easy enough – just send me a note here and let me know your first preference on a date (either June 9th or June 10th) and I’ll get back in touch with everything you’ll need to officially kick this off.

THE MAGIC:

We, as moms, signed on to unconditionally love and support our babies. We laugh with them, we cry with them, and they fill our thoughts equally with joy and with the endless worries. The moments we create with them may fade some in their little memories and curious hearts. I always begin my sessions with a statement such as this:

Your children know you love them.
But will they remember the enamored look
you gave them or the soft embrace of your arms
around them? Go. Go be you. Show them
the love you will want them to remember.
