SKYE HATTEN PHOTOGRAPHY: {“What _____ looks like.” (Month 2)}

Alright folks, I’m going to let you in on a little secret.  It’s just a little secret I discovered during my grand experience in life.  I don’t just let anyone in on my little discoveries, but for you?  I’m here to help.  So here goes…

It’s not a good idea to leave green food coloring in your sweatshirt pocket prior to doing laundry.

No, no, get up now.  No need to bow down and thank me.  Really, this little secret is a gift from me to you.  Because, you see, there may have been some person in this house (someone I’ve seen in the mirror a few times) who just may have left green food coloring in their pocket and tossed her sweatshirt into the laundry basket.   And, well, it’s also possible that this particular sweatshirt was washed in a load of clothes made up of primarily all of Mr. Hatten’s shirts he wears to work.  Oh, and one more little secret…the response “Those darn leprechauns!” isn’t probably the best one, I guess.

See?  I’m just a good friend helping you out.

To proceed further, with the help of a whole lot of oxy clean spray, all those pretty green splotches came out!

As for the point of this post??  It is indeed time for my second installment of my contribution toward a little blogging project with six crazy-talented Montana photographers.  Just to recap…the project is entitled “What ______ looks like.”  Each month we will each choose to fill in the blank with a word (or words) of our choice.  On the third Monday of each month, we will all be sharing a selection of photos on our blogs.  We will each link to another photographer until our circle of 7 is complete.  So, when you’re all through here, DEFINITELY head over to the blog of the talented Alicia Fry Photography – Bozeman, MT Photographer!

So now, I present “What turning seven looks like.”

Birthdays aren’t birthdays without school treats…

This year, the request was to invite her best girlie-friends from school to a wiener dog party at The Painted Pot…

If I had some cash for each time I’ve seen this look…

My ever-so-helpful helper of the day…
